This is not a complete list of every grant we’ve made, but highlights the organizations we’ve vetted and funded for their potential to create outsized impact. We include all grantees who have received funding, where possible considering confidentiality reasons. The 'first funded' date indicates the month and year that Founders Pledge first invested in this grantee. Some of these grantees have received multiple grants from us throughout the years.

PIBBSS (Principles of Intelligence): Discernment Development Project
AI safety organizations face a documented shortage of senior researchers who understand the field's core problems well enough to mentor others, judge research directions, and lead groups, and existing training programs mostly target junior researchers. Our funding supports a trial cohort of the Discernment Development Project at PIBBSS (Principles of Intelligence), which runs selective reading groups for experienced researchers and brings the strongest participants into a three-month senior fellowship in Cape Town.
