Founders Pledge operates on a research-first model of grantmaking. We typically identify promising interventions through our own research and support organizations that can deliver them at scale.
Current Funding Interests
We are currently inviting expressions of interest from organizations operating programs in low- and middle-income countries in the following areas:
- Education
- Job, entrepreneurship, or agriculture training
We are most likely to consider programs that fit the below criteria:
- Have annual budgets above $1M
- Can demonstrate measurable impact
- Already reach a substantial number of beneficiaries
- For education programs, have evidence of literacy or numeracy gains compared to a relevant comparison group
- For job, entrepreneurship, or agriculture training programs, have evidence of increased participant income.
That said, we know we won’t automatically discover every high-potential opportunity. So if you don’t fit the above criteria, we still want to know about organizations or programs whose work may align with our priorities.
