I already intended to allocate a significant portion of any potential financial success from Ometria towards starting a very specific charity that I'd been thinking about for almost a decade. The Founders Pledge allowed me to institutionalise this commitement, and ensure that whatever happens in the future doesn't derail this plan. There's simply no downside to signing the Pledge, and I believe that it's only a matter of time before all entrepreneurs join us in doing so.
