Jacob Rosenberg is the Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of LendUp, a technology startup that aims to provide anyone with a path to better financial health. As a technologist with over twenty years' experience architecting large scale web applications, he is focused on using technology to solve challenging problems and improve people’s lives. Prior to launching LendUp in October of 2012, Jacob was the 80th employee at Yahoo! and helped create some of the most enduring Yahoo! products, such as Yahoo! Search, News, Auctions, and Travel. He was most recently a platform architect for Zynga. Jacob has a B.A. in Computer Science from Rice University.
His cause areas of focus include animal welfare, existential risks, global poverty, and economic and financial inclusion and empowerment.
