Mr. José Miguel Herrero is the General Partner and Founder at Big Sur Ventures. Prior to Big Sur Ventures, José Miguel founded, co-founded, and otherwise led numerous technology enabled products and services companies. He served as a Director of Greg Manning Auctions Inc., since September 24, 2003. Mr. Herrero has knowledge of European and U.S. markets and has extensive international experience in starting and running businesses of diverse sizes including managing a U.S. Nasdaq listed company. In addition, he has significant merger and acquisition experience, and founded and sold a merger and acquisition firm focused on technology and innovation. Mr. Herrero received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University, California, and obtained an M.B.A. in Finance and International Operations from Haas School of Business, U.C. Berkeley.
