Anna Alex is founder and CCO (Chief Customer Officer) of Planetly. Planetly.org is a climate-tech-company developing digital tools enabling companies to analyze, reduce and compensate their CO2 emissions. It's Planetly's declared goal to make the business world "planet-positive" say climate-neutral.

From 2012 to 2018, Anna Alex has successfully built up the Personal Shopping Service OUTFITTERY. By the end of 2018, she retired from operative business, but still continues in supporting the company as a board member.In 2019, she has joined the climate initiative "Leaders for Climate Action", launched by more than 100 digital entrepreneurs in Germany. Inspired by the initiative's goals and driven by the wish to deal with the climate crisis actively and entrepreneurially, Anna Alex has founded Planetly together with Benedikt Franke. Anna Alex is convinced that data and technology have what it takes to provide companies with the required transparency of their Co2 footprint leading to actionable steps to reduce it.

Anna Alex studied economics, sociology and psychology in Freiburg and Paris and started her career with start-up incubator Rocket Internet. During her career, she was chosen to be among Europe's "Inspiring Fifty", "the most inspiring women in tech" and "Young Elite - Top 40 under 40".
