Theresa May

Former UK Prime Minister

Theresa May, the United Kingdom’s second female Prime Minister and one of the most influential global leaders of the 21st century, brings a rare and invaluable perspective on geopolitics, leadership, and organizational resilience. With over two decades in front line politics—including six years as Home Secretary and three as Prime Minister—she led the UK through an era of extraordinary change, defined by Brexit negotiations, heightened national security concerns, and major domestic reform.

May was a central figure on the world stage during a time of unprecedented global complexity, working alongside leaders such as Donald Trump, Emmanuel Macron, Angela Merkel, Narendra Modi, and Xi Jinping. Her firsthand experience navigating these high-level diplomatic relationships—many of which continue to shape today’s international landscape—offers audiences deep insight into the dynamics of global power, shifting alliances, and the future of trade and security.

As Home Secretary, she became the longest-serving Conservative in that role in over 100 years, introduced major security and immigration reforms, championed new legislation to tackle social injustices such as modern slavery and domestic abuse, and was responsible for the safety and security of the 2015 London Olympics. As Prime Minister, she secured the largest funding increase in NHS history, expanded mental health services, and committed the UK to a legally binding net-zero emissions target by 2050 — leading the way in the G7. Under her leadership, employment reached record highs, and income taxes were cut for 32 million people.

Today, May continues to shape global conversations as Chair of the Global Commission on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking, as a life peer in the House of Lords, and as a Senior Fellow at Yale University. She remains active in public service, speaks regularly at major international forums, and works with over 20 charities. She is also the first world leader with Type 1 Diabetes.

Far more than a retrospective, her keynotes offer organizations practical frameworks for navigating change, making values-driven decisions, and leading with clarity during times of disruption. Drawing from her direct experience at the helm of government and diplomacy, she equips audiences with strategies to remain resilient, innovative, and grounded in an ever-evolving global economy.
