Bio

Sarah joined Founders Pledge in October of 2026 as a Philanthropic Services Associate. Prior to this, she worked as an English teacher and director of a small nonprofit in Raleigh, North Carolina. Through this experience, she advised students through raising funds, connecting with donors, and community networking to amplify impact. Sarah holds a BS from Appalachian State University, and recently relocated to New York City.

In her free time, you can find her reading contemporary fiction, watching women's sports, and learning new crafts.

Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?

Ann Patchett; she's one of my favorite authors, and I would like to discuss her craft and characters.

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A teacher!

Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?

Probably a rom-com with a healthy dose of drama. I think I'd like Emilia Clarke to play me.
