Bio

Lara joined Founders Pledge in November 2024 as the Community Growth Lead for EMEA. She began her career at a high-growth tech start-up, focusing on CSR and sustainability initiatives.

She then moved to one of the UK’s largest Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), where she led business development and managed relationships with HNW clients. Through these roles, Lara has built strong experience at the intersection of philanthropy, impact, and scaling organisations.

Lara studied at the University of St Andrews and enjoys racket sports (especially padel at the moment), travelling, and exploring new places to eat.

Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Founding father of Turkey….my unprofessional answer would be Taylor Swift.

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Forensic Scientist was the key front runner after watching too much CSI Las Vegas however Professional Tennis Player is a hot second until I got injured

Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?

Some kind of musical comedy, ideally it would be played by someone like Florence Pugh or Carey Mulligan.
