As Head of Legal and Risk, Kieran brings seven years of experience as a qualified solicitor advising charities, non-profits, and impact companies - most recently as a Managing Associate at Mishcon de Reya LLP.

As an active member of the impact community, Kieran has also hosted podcasts, chaired sector events, and been a charity trustee.

Q&A with Kieran

Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?

This is a tough one but I think i'd choose Freddie Mercury.  Queen is my Dad's favourite band, so I grew up with their songs and hopefully i'd get a +1 so my Dad could come along as well.  I'm sure Freddie would have some good stories, and you never know he might break out into song!

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

One of the Tracy brothers, so I could join the Thunderbirds and pilot a rocket, spacecraft, aircraft, submarine, or space station. The closest I've come is piloting a plane - sadly, without the fetching blue jumpsuit, sash, and hat....

Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?

A noughties mid budget comedy - mostly because Hollywood doesn't make them anymore, and I'm old enough to have seen them in cinemas the first time around! I’d cast fellow type 1 diabetic and comedian Ed Gamble - he’s hilarious and generously let me fundraise for a diabetes charity at his gig.
