Katriel researches high-impact global development funding opportunities for one of our philanthropic partnerships. He has worked in health, agriculture, social protection and education, spanning 4 world regions.
Among other roles, he has designed and overseen World Bank health-sector financing packages and has led a nonprofit, Charity Science Health, deploying low-cost nudges to help mothers in India get their children vaccinated. He has also been an impact evaluator, a complex systems researcher, and a policy research communicator. He holds an MPA/ID from Harvard.
He finds it surprisingly delightful to take little walks around his neighborhood, currently in Washington, DC, listening to power ballads and folk songs.

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A linguist.
Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you? No one would watch that movie, so I hope they'd save money by getting an AI to play me!
