Hi! I’m Ebony, the People Operations Partner at Founders Pledge. I support our global team with the HR essentials, but my real passion lies in creating people-first experiences that go beyond policies and paperwork.

I grew up in North Carolina and graduated from North Carolina Central University (go Eagles!). I’m a big believer in mental health advocacy and building work cultures that prioritize well-being.

Outside of work? I live for travel. Whether it’s wandering local markets, learning from new cultures, or catching flights with no return agenda, I’m always chasing my next adventure. When I’m home, I’m recharging outdoors with my pup and soaking up every bit of sunshine. I bring heart, hustle, and curiosity to everything I do, with a passport always ready!

Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?

I actually don't have an answer for this one but probably Jennifer Lewis or SZA. They both seem like a good time.

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

As a child I wanted to be a Veterinarian but guess what? I am afraid of everything that moves except dogs and horses.

Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?

The movie genre would be PURE COMEDY and Issa Rae would play me.
