Bio

Celia is a Product Manager at Founders Pledge, focusing on developing and scaling internal tools. She brings over a decade of experience across the commercial and charity sectors, specialising in new product development and programme management. She holds a BA in English Literature from The University of York.

Before joining Founders Pledge, she ran her own innovation and product development consultancy, helping mission-driven startups launch and operate more effectively. Prior to that, she led the Fundraising Innovation team at the British Red Cross, where she launched crypto fundraising and Open Banking donation apps.

Outside of work Celia loves surfing, decompressing on the yoga mat and hunting for antiques.

Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?

Maya Angelou - to soak up some of her infinite wisdom on life.

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I vaguely remember wanting to be a vet, turns out its more than just cuddling dogs all day.

Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?

A musical comedy-drama, with Emma Stone and emphasis on the fun!
