Bio

Hi! I’m Alana, the Events & Programming Manager at Founders Pledge. I joined in May 2025 and bring over six years of experience supporting tech founders in London and internationally scale their businesses and grow sustainably through events, accelerators, community building and strategic partnerships.

I’m a qualified project manager and have worked across the public and non-profit sectors, including roles at London & Partners and DigitalHealth.London, where I led programmes designed to support entrepreneurs at key stages of their growth journey.

In my free time I enjoy any form of shopping, a crisp glass of rose, and listening to music (I'm like Baby Driver without the crime)

Q&A with Alana

Q: If you could choose anyone famous (real or fictional) to have dinner with who would they be and why?

A little bit soppy, but my grandad. He passed 11 years ago so would love to tell him everything I've been up to and have a Jameson with him.

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A Palaeontologist. I love dinosaurs, I am a Jurassic Park/ World fanatic, but know nothing scientific about them so stick to the movies.

Q: If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?

It would have to be an action comedy as they are my favourite and I like to think I am funny. If Jason Statham could play me that would be ideal, he is my twin. Otherwise I'd be a mix of Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock in the movie The Heat.
